ExperimentalCollision
Capability
Section titled “Capability”Read experimental collision state and configure SDK software response strategies.
Applicable Products
Section titled “Applicable Products”Experimental An experimental domain, disabled by default; availability depends on device feedback, detection source, and configuration.

Quick Example
Section titled “Quick Example”Run these fragments with a connected hand. Python runs inside an async function; C++ requires revo3/revo3.hpp, iostream, vector, chrono, and stdexcept; handle SdkError at the application boundary.
active_joints = await hand.experimental_collision.active_joints()print(active_joints)const auto active_joints = hand.experimental_collision().active_joints();Parameters and Returns
Section titled “Parameters and Returns”| Operation | Parameters | Returns |
|---|---|---|
| ExperimentalCollision.configure(config) | ExperimentalCollisionConfig | No value |
| ExperimentalCollision.active_joints() | — | 21 booleans, one latched collision state per joint |

Errors and Limits
Section titled “Errors and Limits”No fixed detection latency or absence of missed or false detections is guaranteed. This cannot replace hardware safety measures. Unknown enum values return InvalidArgument. Fields and semantics may change in later 2.x minor releases.
